My Message

 

Hi! Welcome to my Blog! Here, I post about my progress in writing 4 short stories that touch on the consequences of not being your most authentic self.

I have always had a huge love of writing and reading, so when I was planning my capstone project, I wanted it to be a creative writing one. I decided it would be one main story, but with four different perspectives. I found this to be a both challenging and interesting project to complete, seeing as though I had to get into the minds of people with different mindsets while telling the same story. I chose to write about the social dynamics that high schoolers often experience between friends and groups of people. I first wrote from the perspective of a girl who is not afraid to be herself, but faces the consequences of that, I then wrote from the perspective of a girl who chose to not be herself for popularity, another perspective i wrote was from a girl seeing the situation from an outsiders p.o.v , and the last perspective i wrote was from a girl who is not herself in order to remain 'popular'. 

 

 

This four story series is called "Being you".
